SaaS - Solar energy CRM

Projetsolaire - Web App Designs

Projet Solaire is a CRM built for solar energy companies to manage their leads, clients, projects, and day-to-day operations in one place. The platform helps teams follow each customer from the first contact through to installation and after-sales.

I joined the project as a product designer and was responsible for designing a large part of the platform's features in Figma. Some of the work is covered by an NDA, so this case study focuses on a selection of the features I can share.

Project goals and challenges

Designing a CRM that fits solar company workflows

Organizing large amounts of client and project data

Simplifying complex processes for sales and operations

Keeping a consistent experience across many features

Making daily tasks faster and more intuitive

Working within an existing product and its constraints

Creating a structure that can scale with future features

My approach

Activity center: a central place to follow updates and actions across the platform

Brand building tool: lets companies customize their brand identity within their documents and client-facing materials

Quotes & invoices management: creating, tracking, and managing quotes and invoices

Request for quotes: a flow for requesting and receiving quotes

Consumption experience: helps users understand and follow energy consumption

Tenders flows: a dashboard for installers to follow and manage tenders

Hardware supplier dashboard: a dashboard for suppliers to manage their activity on the platform

Hardware products: browsing and managing the hardware product catalog

Final results

I worked with the client for a year and became the lead designer on the project. I designed a large share of the platform's features, helping turn a complex solar business workflow into a clearer and more organized CRM experience. By approaching each feature individually while keeping a shared structure and visual style, the platform became more consistent and easier to use for installers, suppliers, and sales teams.

The client was very happy with my designs, as well as my understanding of the users and the research behind each feature. Due to the NDA, only part of the work is shown here, but it reflects the way I approach designing complex, data-heavy products.
